This guide explains exactly what drives the price of a man-with-a-van job or a small move in Barcelona, and what range to expect in 2026.

The starting point: the base fee
Every job starts from a base fee (in Barcelona, the real floor for a mini haul is around €45). That base covers the call-out, the van with a driver and the first kilometres within the city. From there, the price goes up based on four easy-to-understand factors.
The four factors that move the price
We don't charge by the hour or linearly: tiers keep an urban haul from spiking over a few extra kilometres. These are the factors:
- Distance: by tiers. A neighbourhood haul within Barcelona barely adds; going to the metro area costs a bit more.
- Items: how many boxes or pieces you move. Up to a few items it doesn't add; beyond that it grows by tiers.
- Floors without a lift: carrying up on foot takes time, so it's charged per floor and per end (pickup and delivery). With a lift, zero.
- Second mover: if you need real loading/unloading help (not just transport), an extra mover is added.
Bulky furniture, urgency and extras
A sofa, a wardrobe or a mattress counts as bulky furniture and carries a small surcharge (which scales if there are several, but not linearly: loading four doesn't cost four times one). If you need the service TODAY, there's an urgency surcharge; Sundays and public holidays also carry a supplement. And tricky central areas (Born, Gothic Quarter, pedestrian streets, restricted LEZ) can add a small extra for access.

A job with a large piece of furniture, some distance or a couple of floors without a lift goes up from there.
