The haul: a van with a driver for specific items

A haul is the simplest thing: a van with a driver to take things from point A to point B. Pick up a sofa from Wallapop, bring a big IKEA order, move a washing machine or a couple of pieces of furniture. Fast, cheap and no operation to set up. You can add a second mover if you need loading/unloading help.

The small move: a studio or a 1-2 bed flat

When you move a whole small home (a studio, a one or two bedroom flat, a full room) we call it a small move. It's still a van with a driver, usually with two movers, but with more volume and coordination than a single haul. You don't need a 40 m³ lorry or half a day with four people.

The full removal: when it does make sense

For a whole house with lots of furniture, big appliances, wardrobes to dismantle and several full rooms, a full removal with a lorry and a big crew is the right call. If that's your case, don't try to do it with a small van: you'll end up making three trips and it'll work out worse.

Quick rule so you don't get it wrong
